NBC have announced production will begin this week on the American version of Top Gear, being hosted by Adam Carolla, Tanner Foust and Eric Stromer. Yeah I have no idea who these guys are either, apparantly they look like this. Photo after the jump. …Click here for the rest!

Above I’ve uploaded the new trailer for BBC2’s Top Gear, which is still my favourite show on TV. I don’t think witty comments are really required for this. Top Gear returns to BBC2 on June 22nd 2008.

I’m not sure if this is really news or not but let’s post it anyway, just to get some thing up!

Jenna Elfman will be guest starring in the fourth season of My Name is Earl. I’m not sure what she is doing but last time I seen her guest star in a sitcom she was swinging a baseball bat wildly at a Mercedes rather than Charlie Sheen, who was standing next to her. That must have taken some willpower, obviously that show was not funny where as My Name is Earl has it’s moments.

Anyway I think I heard she would be a cheerleader in Episode 1 or something but don’t quote me on that, I can’t be having this “research” thing before every post, especially if it’s not important.

As Lucy Spiller says, “Nothing sells better than death”. FX, taking this to heart, seem to have called Courtney Cox’s bluff and killed Dirt. Which was nice of them. I have no opinion on this really.

Been a bit slack on the news front over the last week, so it’s time to get back into it. Let’s start with some Heroes!

Heroes has a new bad guy joining next season in the shape of Weevil.

No not this guy, he’s firmly locked in a storage cupboard in Wales, somewhere between Catherine Tate and a Cyberman.

Of course we mean Francis Capra (pictured below), Kristen Bell’s (back of head pictured below) Veronica Mars co-star!

According to TVGuide.com, Capra will be playing Jesse, not much else is known about his character apart from he’s a baddie who goes head to head with Peter Petrelli at one point.

Following on from FOX’s preview clip for The Cleveland Show, comes the news that they have signed the cast of ‘The Simpsons’ to a four year deal that will give them each $400,000 an episode.

Fortunately for us, this does not guarantee another 4 year’s of ‘The Simpsons’, as the deal runs out with the guys who “ssh!” you at the end of every episode next year.

I’m not entirely sure how important they are to the show, I imagine they are like CBC to Doctor Who, for some reason they are credited but they do nothing of note. Anyway the ending credits are the best bit of ‘The Simpsons’ these days, you can’t start losing them as well.
