Rob Thomas, creator of tv series Veronica Mars has revealed he recently held talks with lead actress Kristen Bell about reviving the series for a big screen outing.

Thomas told Entertainment Weekly that he discussed the idea last week with Bell, who played the lead and title character, Veronica. Some more quotes from people involved, including Miss Bell herself after the jump.

“Kristen and I ran into each other - and we did discuss a Veronica movie,” says Thomas, who also revealed that he had “a few conversations with Joel Silver”, who was the executive producer for Veronica Mars.

“It’s very tough to focus on it right now with two pilots on my plate,” he added. “But as soon as I have any free time, that’s my top priority.”

And just to add a quote from Kristen Bell because she’s gorgeous and no post is good enough without her input. “[Fans] still ask me all the time if the show’s coming back. Emotionally, I don’t want to think about Veronica Mars every day because it really does make me sad.”

Kristen Bell is currently filming for the third season of Heroes, reprising her role as Elle.
